I had a lovely time ringing in the New Year at this hotel! The location is fantastic, super quiet but just a short 10-minute walk from both the train station and the fine Kinrinko Lake. I also really enjoyed the spacious room with beautiful mountain views.
There were definitely some downsides. The soundproofing is awful—I could hear alarms and doors slamming from the neighbors. the Japanese-style bed was pretty uncomfortable for me. Why is the mattress so thin? Plus, the disposable cups were a huge letdown; it really felt cheap. I expected more for my stay.

I recently stayed at this lovely hot spring hotel for a few days. The Japanese-style room was incredibly comfortable and the hot spring facilities were truly enjoyable. The staff members were friendly and helpful, always ready to answer any questions we had. Additionally, the hotel offers a variety of facilities such as massage chairs, a karaoke room, and a spacious onsen. The Japanese dinner and breakfast provided were some of the best meals I've had, and the location, although a 15-minute walk from the subway, offered beautiful views and a serene atmosphere.
100% Recommend this hotel.

The view of Mount Yufuin is majestic, and the staff were personable, honest, and had interesting characters. The room was spacious and equipped with yukata, tea equipment, locker, etc. The public bath was free for guests and offered a beautiful view of the Yufudake mountain. The hotel's location was convenient, with a supermarket nearby selling cheap sushi and sashimi after 9:00 pm. The staffs were very kind and cooperative, and we had no problem communicating in English. a great experience.
Hard to think of anything.

We recently stayed at a comfortable hotel that was located in a peaceful area surrounded by nature. It was just a short walk from the main shopping street, offering a great selection of shops and cafes. the rooms were spacious and clean, with a lovely view of the nearby lake. the staff was friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout our stay. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning, with a range of tasty dishes to choose from. the hotel also had fantastic hot springs, which were perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.
One slight downside was that the hotel was a bit further away from the train station than we had expected, making it a bit of a walk to get to.
